I'm short on both words and time this week, so let's skip the chit chat and just get down to business!

UPDATED: The Best Podcasts for Women
Â
The other day I realized that my super popular post recommending podcasts for women was 3 YEARS OLD!
Â
So I took a hard look at it, and at the podcasts I've listened to since, and I updated that puppy to better reflect the podcast choices out there now.
Â
If you haven't read the post in a while, go check it out!

1. Michelle Obama's podcast launched yesterday. You'll have to listen on Spotify exclusively, but I think it's worth the extra effort. Her first guest was her husband. I enjoyed the season 1 teaser that came at the end of the episode.Â
Â
2. The Serial podcast announced a new show that launches TODAY. It's not a new season, but a new podcast called Nice White Parents, and the teaser episode sounded great.
Â
3. The ZigZag podcast is back w/ a new short season. The show has a new look (cover art), and co-founder Jen Poyant has moved on, but the show has the same feel as ever, with co-founder and host Manoush Zomorodi interviewing guests in her signature style.

This is officially one of my new favorite podcasts. I want to binge all the episodes right now, but I'm not going to. I did that when I first discovered Death, Sex and Money years ago, and I regretted it the second I was all caught up.
Â
This show is a hilarious conversation about good manners and doing right by people. The episodes are broken up into recurring segments (my favorite type of format).
Â
The female co-host is a comedian from The Great State of Maine, and listening to her makes me wonder if all us Mainers aren't totally the same...
Â
I highly recommend trying this show. Any episode will do, just pick one at random and download ASAP.

Â
This short, daily podcast is full of fun, happy stories. It's very "ripped from the headlines", and it's brought to you by the folks behind Cards Against Humanity (you didn't expect me to say THAT, did you?).
Â
I really enjoy these bite-sized episodes. They have been publishing quite a few repeat/rebroadcasts lately, but since I'm new to the show, it's new to me.

Â
This is a new investigative series and I Am Here For It. It's about a land buying scam in California. I've finished the first two episodes and I'm excited for the rest.
Â
The story is well-told and the episodes are well-produced. I like how the host is honest about her doubts and sometimes superficial judgements. I also love a good "host and producer riding in the car to the place they're investigating" audio clip.
