Since I wrote you last, I've been dealing with an allergic skin allergy...to laundry detergent. For two weeks? Yes, for two weeks.
Â
During this MISERY, I kept reminding myself that the great thing about podcasts is: they leave your hands free to scratch!
Â
To keep myself from going crazy, I found it especially important to listen to shows that are familiar to me. It wasn't the time to test out the latest new show that everyone was talking about.
Â
Instead, I listened to shows that I find comforting, but that I hadn't kept up with (aka, I had some unplayed episodes sitting in my queue).
If you're the type of person who re-reads your favorite book when you're feeling blue, you know what I'm talking about.
Â
The moral of this story: I highly recommend having a few "comforting" podcasts in your podcast player, even if you don't listen to them on a regular basis. They can come in handy when you find yourself in a tough situation.
