I'm in denial today. Yesterday, my favorite podcast EVER, The West Wing Weekly, released it's finale. Over 7 seasons, they've covered every episode of the West Wing TV show, and now the podcast has wrapped.
Â
I haven't listened to it yet. And not because it's over 2 hours long (awesome!) I'm dragging it out, and I have been for a while. I still haven't listened to the last ten episodes, an avoidance tactic I'm fond of. I refuse to rush a good thing. Finales make me sad, okay?
Â
Alright, onto happier stuff (aka, other podcasts to fill the void).

New Podcast Review: Fake Heiress
Â
Last weekend, I stumbled upon—and then binged—a show that dropped a few weeks ago. It's all about the Anna Delvey scandal, which unfolded in New York City between 2013 and 2017. The story is completely unbelievable,
and the podcast has a unique format that I found interesting.

Ordinary Equality
Â
This is a brand new podcast all about the Equal Rights Amendment, which would include women in the U.S. constitution. The podcast covers the history of how the amendment came to be (over 100 years ago), the fight to get it passed, and the status of it today. It's an interesting and informative listen for all genders—and teens, too.

Living Healthy (the LA Fitness Podcast)
Â
My husband and I switched gyms a few months ago, signing up with LA Fitness (a brand that I thought was too big and flashy, but turns out is just a pleasant place to work out!)
Â
One one of the TVs at the gym, they often promote their latest LA Fitness podcast episode. Turns out, the show is pretty solid. The hosts are entertaining, and they interview guests who are certified in nutrition, personal training, and physical therapy. I've actually learned quite a bit from this podcast, and it's available on all major podcast apps.

Ologies with Alie Ward
Â
Y'all, where have I been? I only just discovered the Ologies podcast this week, thanks to another podcast (shout out to Helen from The Allusionist)!
Â
In each episode of Ologies, host Alie Ward speaks with an expert in a particular field. Think: microbiology or paleontology. But it goes further than that, with lupinology (the study of wolves) and mycology (the study of fungi). Episodes are about an hour, but they're super entertaining.
