This week, in sunny Florida: it rained. Every day. And there was even one day when it HAILED!
This isn't news to anyone who has spent time in Florida during summer. It rains sporadically, just about every day. And when it rains, it's LOUD.
I couldn't help but think of how many times I've heard podcasters talk about having to find a quiet place to record. If I were podcasting in Florida during the summer, I'd be so frustrated!
A shout out to all the podcasters who read this email: I'm wishing you quiet recording sessions (and no hail storms).

6 Inspiring Podcasts for Women Entrepreneurs
Last week, 6 of my friends gave me their top recommendations for inspiring podcasts for female entrepreneurs.
Even though I chat with these women every week, and we message one another in between, it was interesting for me to see their recommendations.
If you're a woman who side-hustles, runs a business, or is thinking of starting a business, take note of these podcasts!
They also shared their fave personal (non-business) podcasts, which I'll be sharing on Facebook over the next week. If you're not already, go follow me there.

Here's some new podcast stuff worth knowin':
1. Westwood One announced two new sports-themed podcasts recently:
The first one is The Voice of Esports, which focuses on gaming. It's
hosted by gaming legend Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner.
The second - The Weekly Pass is hosted by Bonnie-Jill Laflin, the NBA’s first and only female scout. She'll be interviewing sports superstars and legends.
2. Wondery has a new show (no surprise there). It's called The Moment, and it's about love and relationships. It's hosted by Ingrid Haas
(I'll be listening to this soon, and will let you know what I think).
3. The Big One podcast, which completed its limited run back in March, released an update episode after
the recent earthquakes in California.

Noble Blood
Y'all, we are so lucky to have Aaron Mahnke in this world. He is executive producing this new history podcast, which tells the stories of some of history's most fascinating royals.
The show is hosted by author Dana Schwartz, who does a great job capturing the feeling that Aaron creates in his own award-winning podcasts.
The first episode of Noble Blood is sooooooo good!

The Lazy Genius
If you follow me on social media, you may have seen me recommending different episodes of this podcast recently. I honestly don't remember how or when I found this podcast, but I really enjoy it.
Most of the episodes are geared towards homemaking (meal-planning & cooking, organization, tackling your never-ending mountains of laundry, etc), but others are about finding routine and making time to read.
Episodes are quick and digestible, and this episode had me laughing out loud the other day.

The Clearing
This new true crime podcast starts with a woman telling the story of how she called the police because she suspected her father of being a killer.
Turns out, she was right (that's no spoiler). And that's not where his crimes end.
The show promises to develop as the podcaster, producer, and the daughter try to figure out what other killings her father may have committed, and to clear up the conspiracy theories around him.
If you like the Happy Face podcast, you'll probably like this one.
